Description
The DMR V8 V2 pedals are a modified version of the classic DMR V8 Classic pedals, designed to provide better grip and control when riding mountain bikes.
DMRs have used their years-tested and rider-tested flat platform pedal design inspired by the classic shape of the DMR V8 Classic. The new aluminum version of the DMR V8 V2 retains the concave profile and ruggedness of the iconic V8 Classic, but gets a larger platform area and a dual DU hub system added in the previous update.
The V8 V2s have an identical platform shape and number of spikes as the top-of-the-line DMR V12 model, providing the same level of grip, control, and ride comfort. Additionally, they allow you to adjust the grip level yourself with adjustable spikes, making them a versatile choice for a variety of riding styles.
The pedals have 10 customizable interchangeable spikes on each side and a reinforced 4140 CroMo axis. Of course, DMR also left behind its high-quality, durable and lightweight die-cast aluminum platform.
The model has an ultra-low profile of only 17 mm, which increases the clearance of the bike, improves its cross-country ability on difficult terrain, reduces the likelihood of hitting obstacles and provides better control and comfort for the foot.
